Alyssa Lewis was born and raised in Paterson NJ and began dancing at the age of 14. She has been training in the field of dance from 2016 to 2020 at Passaic County Technical Institute. She has trained in modern, jazz and tap. She has also trained in Ballet, which is based off of the American Ballet Theater Curriculum. Aside from dancing in school everyday, she performs at banquets and is a praise dancer at multiple churches. Even though she is more of a lyrical dancer, she enjoys challenging herself with contemporary and even hip hop. When she is given a specific setting for a dance, she allows her dynamic facial expressions and movement to show it. After college, Alyssa has plans to open a local dance studio: help in a normal people find their passion for dance as well.
